1:55 Haydock - Intense Tango 25/1 Intense tango is now 4lb lower than his last winning run which was here at Haydock over further on soft ground, so any rain here will not be an issue, it was also a much better race than today. His stats at Haydock are 4, 1, 2, 1. He is a C&D winner. He also comes into form this time of year with stats of  1, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2. All 3 of his flat wins have come on flat tracks, (2 at Haydock, 1 Musselburgh) Karl Burke does well at Haydock with his horses, but more interesting is the jockey he has employed. This jockey as only ever ridden at haydock twice and won both. I think Dance King and Zubayar are their dangers, but both horses are on their right hand side. And what's good about Intense Tango is that he is versatile and if no pace he can lead, in fact his last win was where he led. But he does like to position himself up to be handy.
