1st Shabbah 7/1 - 75 2nd Knights Table 12/1 - 65 3rd Soldier In Action 16/1 - 60 4th Move Up 13/2 - 55 Ryan Moore is 2/2 on Shabbah, and Shabbah beat Dal Harraild last tie out by a head, and although the weights give DH the advantage, if Shabbah settles then he will be the one to beat here. Move Up will love the going, and i thought at the start would take this, he also has a strange stall. Not many races run under these conditions but of those 9 that have, 4 have come from Move Up's stall Soldier In Action has good speed My Selection: Shabbah 7/1

30/07/16 Interesting Stats/Facts

Image
1. Roger Charlton and Ryan Moore have teamed up just 11 times in the last 2 years. But if you look more closely at what classes, then any race Class 2 and better they are 4/4. Looking at the names, it does seem that Ryan gets to ride the stable stars, with Time Test, Fair Eva and Projection. Today he rides Projection again 2:00 Goodwood - Projection 11/2 I am off out soon, when i am back ill dig for more stuff

1st Projection11/2 - 80 2nd Mukaynis 20/1 - 65 3rd Iseemist 22/1 - 50 4th Misterioso 10/1 -45  Don't normally like favourites in big races like this but Projection scored very well and could be the horse to beat. Firstly the booking of Ryan Moore raises an eyebrow, as the last time he rode this horse they won. He is unexposed and the fact he came back after a break to come 4th at Newmarket in the Heritage Handicap is good form. The ground and trip suit and he has massive chance. Iseemist is a winner over distance on good-firm, but best form is probably on softer ground. Mukaynis has something to find but has only been out the places over 6f 2 times in 9 attempts and 3 of the 7 times placed were wins Shamshon's jockey and trainer have teamed up 4 times in the last 14 days and won 3 of them My Selection: Projection 11/2

1st Bathos 13/2 - 90 2nd Heisman 6/1 - 60 3rd Illusive 16/1 - 55 Not going into lots of details here as late Bathos has won at Goodwood, and should go well again. Heisman did well in headgear last time out, and could put in a good run again My selection: Bathos 13/2

30/07/16 Rating System

The 3 i had yesterday were awful, Saturdays one really isn't inspiring but 10lb lower than last win and back over the distance he won at. So 25/1 might be very nice 4:55 Goodwood - Palawan 25/1 I will say a tiny bit on this as i looked at it properly. Last win was 10lb higher than today, it was only a 3 horse race though, so not the best race, however  his 3rd in a Group 2 is impressive as only got beat by Ibn Malik and Emotionless. That was over 7f, and then the put him up to 1 mile where he hasn't be that competitive, so this drop to 7f again could help him be up there. Breeding suggest Good-firm is fine and he is a winner on this ground over the distance. Plus he has best speed stats. Its a tough race, but at 25/1 you have to try it
