Vaniteux was very impressive in the stats, scoring top in all he qualified for.  Josses Hill was 2^nd in the standout stakes.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the top for were from this list

2^nd Rock On Ruby 4/1 – 85

3^rd Dodging Bullets 5/1 – 70

4^th Grandouet 9/1 – 65

4^th Western Warhorse 33/1 – 65

5^th Valdez 5/2 – 60

It’s pretty close between the bottom 3 on this list, but Champagne Fever goes well at Cheltenham and that was reflected in the stats. So for me Champagne Fever will be a hard nut to crack in this race.

2^nd Alfie Sherrin 8/1 – 60

3^rd Hadrians Approach 10/1 – 55

3^rd Shakalakboomboom 20/1 – 55

4^th King Massini 18/1 – 50

Holywell did very well in this and looked the likely winner, but King Massini was interesting at much bigger odds. However this is a very tight race and all the horses not listed were not very far off. So i would be surprised if they come home in this order

2^nd The New One 5/2 – 75

2^nd My Tent Or Yours 4/1 – 75

3^rd Melodic Rendezvous 20/1 – 65

3^rd Our Conor 9/2 – 65

I pretty much expected the Fly to come out on top of this as his record speaks for itself.  But as the stats otherwise prove, this race is going to be a close one. Melodic Rendezvous actually stood out in the stats.

1^st Quevega 4/5 – 95

2^nd Doyle Carte 33/1 – 65

3^rd Down Ace 14/1 – 55

4^th Highland Retreat  14/1 – 45

4^th Cailin Annamh 14/1 – 45

It was obvious who would top this system. Interesting was the place horses if your looking for value, Down Ace and Doyle Carte buth stood out after Quevega, and i would look at either of them as possible place chances

3^rd Milborough 33/1 – 30

3^rd Herdsman 25/1 – 30

What a very close race this is, luckily Shutthefrontdoor stood out if only slightly, Milborough looked interesting too.

As you can see this is another race where it is very close. Must admit to preferring Ericht over Grandad’s Horse, but nothing really stood out in the stats, it was very close all the way through
